The Tabor is Eastside’s original model that launched the brand in 2003 created by Portland, Oregon native Robin McGuirk. His motivation was to make a longboard that was manuvarable around the city but can still bomb a hill thus named after local Mt.Tabor Park on the Eastside of Portland. It’s the perfect size hybrid longboard for anyone to learn to skateboard including both kids and adults. Over the years it has been updated and improved and remains the flagship model many have learned on. Made from thick longboard grade 7 ply maple, making the board sturdy, stiff, and durable. It features a big kicktail, mellow but sufficient concave, and wheel wells for longboard trucks and wheels.
